Frequently Asked Questions

All classes are asynchronous, but teachers can be accessed during set times every day.

• High School students can attend part time.  Students can build a schedule between their home school and RVA that works best for them.
• Middle School Students need to transfer to RVA full time.

A student may take up to 3 classes at RVA and still be part time.

The elective credits from the home school may be lost and your student may need to start a new elective.  We will work with each transfer student on a case-by-case basis.

No, the state does not allow us to teach students who are not physically located in-state.

All state required assessments must be taken in person.

Students can still participate in their sports and activities at their district assigned school.
