If your student is using their device over winter break, our safety management tool, called Gaggle, will continue to proactively identify potential safety concerns online.
Gaggle continually scans student-issued accounts including Google (Gmail and Google Drive) and Microsoft (Office 365 and OneDrive). The scan looks for issues such as cyberbullying, substance abuse, explicit images or other harmful activities.
If issues or unsafe content are identified, Gaggle notifies school administration. School staff work collaboratively with families and students to address identified concerns.
Gaggle complies with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and school board policy 514.
